Bless This Toxic Mess was painted during a period of personal transformation and carries within it that sense of intensity and resilience. Exhibited during the KunstExpo Eindhoven (August 2025).
Original expressive abstract painting in acrylic on canvas (40x40 cm, 4 cm thick stretcher frame – no frame required). A powerful and layered work, constructed in thick, tangible paint structures. The contrasting colors—cool gray clouds against a fiery background of red and orange—create a strong tension between control and emotion.
Control isn't always tranquility. Sometimes it's a way to carry something heavy; tension, pressure, emotion that slowly builds. Bless This Toxic Mess emerged from that space: where silence weighs heavily, but doesn't quite break. The paint is thick on the canvas; each layer breathes what couldn't be said. What seems like light is also fire. Intense, raw, and yet controlled.
