šØ Each plate is a picturesque winter portrait of European garden birds in their natural habitat: blue tits, robins, goldcrests, finches, sparrows, siskins, great tits, waxwings, and blackbirds, all captured in a magical winter atmosphere of snow, berries, and frozen branches.
The plates are signed by Ursula Band and exude the warmth and intimacy of a true nature painter.
ā±ļø The edition was finally closed after only 75 firing days.
This means that the Hutschenreuther kiln was permanently closed after 75 firing days, and no more plates from this series were ever produced.
