Product description
An elegant Louis XVI style freestanding photograph frame, likely dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. It features thick, clear glass with a wide beveled edge, held by a gilt metal mount, probably brass. An openwork pediment decorated with knotted ribbons surmounts the piece. Two small ball feet and a rear easel allow for vertical display. Intended for a photograph or portrait, this frame would look lovely on a chest of drawers, desk, or console table. No signature is found. Condition: Patina on the gilt metal, with visible traces of oxidation and wear, particularly on the back. The glass shows no apparent cracks in the photographs. Dimensions: Height 21 cm; Width 11.5 cm.
