"Between Water and Air" is a unique and mysterious work depicting birds taking flight from the river into the air. The moment of releasing the water and flying back into the sky is a magnificent moment during which birds—especially geese—make a great deal of noise, thereby communicating effectively with one another in their own bird language. This calm and expansive work leaves much to the viewer's imagination. It is wonderful that one can dream away while looking at this work and let one's own imagination run wild.
- The burnt lines make this work unique, partly due to the structures created within the plate. It is calm yet also refined and lively.
- The work includes a protective coating flyer.
- Both the title and the signature are burned into the reverse side.
