Color lithograph by Bertoldot Taubert (1915-1974) depicting an intimate scene of a mother and child.
The composition shows a mother tenderly embracing her child. The expressive drawing and rich palette, dominated by yellow, turquoise, ochre, and brown, give the work a particularly warm presence.
The work is hand-signed in the lower right corner "B. Taubert" and bears the inscription "EA XXIII/XXV" in the lower left corner, corresponding to an artist's proof numbered 23/25.
Presented under glass with a mat in its original gilt frame. The frame and mat show signs of age and wear, visible in the photographs.
