An exceptional original piece of Danish Mid-Century Modern design.
This rare tambour cabinet by Bernhard Pedersen & Søn (BPS-M) combines high-quality craftsmanship, timeless elegance, and exceptional functionality. Made in Denmark in the 1960s, the piece captivates with its sculptural form, characteristic tambour doors, and the beautiful grain of the teak wood.
The elegantly curved roll-top doors slide completely into the cabinet, revealing a thoughtfully designed interior. Three dovetailed drawers—two of which feature original green felt lining—provide additional storage for documents, jewelry, collectibles, or bar accessories. Several adjustable shelves allow for flexible use.
The fully veneered back panel is a particularly noteworthy feature. This allows the piece of furniture to be placed freely in the room and makes it look sophisticated and elegant from every angle – a feature particularly valued in high-quality Danish design furniture.
The original BPS-M manufacturer's plaque "Made in Denmark" is located on the back.

Very nice and well-maintained vintage condition with age-appropriate signs of wear. The drum doors open and close smoothly. The interior is clean and well-maintained. Beautiful teak patina and exceptional craftsmanship.
