A slender, turned wooden shaft made of beech on a tripod-shaped wooden base carries a short bracket at the side, from which hangs a conical, folded textile shade with fine speckling.
The light source shines softly and directed downwards, ideal for reading corners or atmospheric accent lighting. The joint on the shade with a small wing screw allows the light cone to be directed. The decorative cable guide is a characteristic feature: the connecting cable is neatly tied along the pole with small wooden beads - a charming detail that emphasizes the handcrafted design.
The combination of a wooden tripod base made of beech, a slender wooden shaft and a wooden arm on the side corresponds exactly to the Temde material language of the late 1950s and 1960s. The typical wooden bead cover on the cable can be found on several documented Temde lamps, especially on pendant models.
The folded, textile-covered cone shade is also in keeping with Temde shades of the time (linen/parchment look). Together with the type of joint mount, this results in a coherent, self-contained Temde image.
