Vintage mid-century rattan desk / writing table from the 1950s/60s with a warm tropical look
This charming rattan desk or writing table features a beautiful, airy design and plenty of character. It has that typical warm look of the 1950s/60s and fits perfectly into an interior with vintage, bohemian, mid-century, or colonial accents.
The desk has an elegant rattan/bamboo frame with a wooden top and practical open compartments on the front. Thanks to its slender lines, the furniture looks light and stylish, while at the same time being very decorative and functional.
The wooden top has a beautiful warm grain. The wood species has not been determined with complete certainty, but it is likely a tropical wood with an appearance similar to teak/iroko. This gives the furniture its beautiful, warm character. Features:
• Original vintage furniture
• 1950s / early 1960s
• Rattan / bamboo frame
• Wooden top with a warm tropical look
• Open storage compartments on the front
• Ideal as a writing desk, laptop table,
side table, or decorative accent piece
Condition:
The furniture has been professionally restored and is in used condition. It is precisely this that gives it great charm and authenticity.
A unique, atmospheric, and decorative piece of furniture that you do not often come across.
Note: The dimensions have not yet been recorded, but I will pass them on as soon as they are known.
