Special vintage portrait of Pauline Bonaparte (1780–1825), the sister of Napoleon Bonaparte.This is an Art print from the series “Rinascimento Prints”, with the mention “Roberto Hoesch – Milano” on the print. Roberto Hoesch was an Italian producer/publisher of Art reproductions in Milan.What makes this piece special is the three-dimensional decorative finish. The depicted clothing and jewelry are partially made with real textile materials and glittering applications, giving the portrait a striking relief.The dress is made of white and deep blue textile, complemented by gold-colored details. The jewelry and headdress also feature decorative, glittering elements.The name “Pauline Bonaparte” is handwritten on the back.The whole is placed in a beautiful gilded, decorative frame behind glass.Dimensions including frame: approx. 34 × 27 cmCondition: very nice vintage condition. The textile, the decorative applications and the frame are well preserved.
