A beautiful duo of glass sculptures from the iconic Catwalk series, designed by world-renowned glass artist Kjell Engman for the Swedish company Kosta Boda (circa 2004).
This set consists of two highly sought-after models from the collection, which complement each other beautifully due to their color contrast:
Madame Blue (#7090557): An elegant, deep blue figure with a characteristic red hat. The rough, grainy texture of the glass gives the object a special depth.
Madame Crinoline / White (#7090763): A stylish white figure with a stepped dress and a yellow hat. The frosted glass has an icy, almost sugar-sweet appearance.
Both sculptures are handmade from solid Swedish crystal and are in excellent condition. The underside of the sculptures is signed "Kosta Boda K. Engman" and features the corresponding model numbers. The Catwalk series is a tribute to the fashion world and is known for its playful elegance and bold use of color. As a pair, these "Madames" form a unique design object that comes into its own in both modern and classic interiors.
