2 Beautiful tall metal designer lamps with 2 'small green shades'. 60 cm high, so you are truly bringing a statement piece into your home.
A timeless set that mixes modernity with antique allure!
Because it is an identical pair, they immediately create symmetry and tranquility in an interior. They are perfectly designed to stand on either side of a large sideboard, on a console table in a hallway, or as bedside lamps in a chic bedroom.
The dark green shades ensure that the light is directed primarily upwards and downwards. This creates a very intimate, atmospheric grazing light on the wall instead of bright, general lighting. In our opinion, they exude both elegance and tranquility.
Somewhat eclectic and even Hotel chic atmosphere.
The set of lamps can certainly be classified as belonging to the Hollywood Regency style. This style revolves around glamour, luxurious materials, and contrasts. The sleek, stepped square base and the ribbed silver-colored details are directly inspired by classical Greek and Roman columns (classical column form).
Art Deco influences are also visible; the combination of shiny chrome/silver metal with deep, high-gloss black ("ebonized" or piano lacquer look) and the streamlined, tapered shape of the shaft give the lamps a clear nod to the luxurious French Art Deco style of the 1920s and 1930s.
These lamps are also offered as 'Emperor style'.
The lamps are in very neat condition, with some light signs of use here and there (small stain, streak, scratch, dent).
In photo 12, you can see some marks on the silver part of the top of the lamp. This is usually caused by handling the lamps, heat, etc.
