Offered: A truly stunning and rare vintage sewing cabinet in Mid-Century Modern / Danish style. An absolute eye-catcher for the lover of unique vintage design!
This compact piece of furniture from the 1950s/60s immediately distinguishes itself from standard accordion models. Instead of the familiar crossbars on the outside, this cabinet features an ingenious and neatly concealed tilting mechanism on the sides. As soon as you open the cabinet, the three levels fan out smoothly and in a stepped manner. Thanks to this clever design, the cabinet opens very compactly and efficiently, without taking up much extra space in width or depth.
The cabinet is crafted from high-quality warm teak wood and stands on elegant, slender, tapered legs connected by a solid crossbar. The drawers are fitted with the original, gold-colored brass handles that give the furniture an extra luxurious and refined look.
Perfect for use with sewing supplies, but nowadays also incredibly popular as a stylish jewelry box or unique storage unit on a dresser or side table. Dimensions:
