This extravagant object is a hand-blown glass vase, crafted in the tradition of Thuringian glass art around 1960-1970. Its sculptural, organic silhouette is characteristic of the Mid-Century era aesthetic and recalls the forms of Space Age design. The vase was made from wafer-thin glass, giving it a remarkably low weight. It measures approximately 23 cm in height and has a diameter of about 9 cm at its widest point.
