Offered for sale: a beautiful, original hand-knotted Persian Bidjar rug.
This rug was purchased from the renowned specialist Koreman Oriental Carpets.
A Bidjar is known as the 'iron rug of Persia' due to its extremely high knot density and the virtually indestructible quality of the wool. The rug features a stunning, refined Herati pattern with a central medallion in deep blue, beige, and terracotta shades.
