White porcelain box from the Plaue Porcelain Manufactory PMP
M1847 from 1973, which was and is the Meissen co-manufacturer in Dresden.
The motifs (unfortunately, the digital camera is a bit weak; this AI from W could at least provide some support instead of just xxx) show:
on the lid: dancing figures and floral motifs
and on the side: a dance of players? Children/angels?
Bought by my grandma, original price in DM: 132.90 - she saved up for it for a long time, thinking it was Meissner (and there were no "Whop" or "Kleinaz" products back then...), and there's no "Made in GDR" sticker on the tin :)
If she had known back then that it was called "the white gold from Hüllerrupp in Thuringia," she would have been even happier :)
The tin is a simple, glazed porcelain beauty with hand-painted gold rims and bands - in very good condition.
Height: approx. 7.5 cm, length: approx. 19 cm, width: approx. 9 cm
