Beautiful mid-century modern table lamp made of bamboo and parchment paper. Made in France. There is an "Oscar Weber" sticker on the underside of the lamp. Oscar Weber was a high-end Swiss department store that operated from the 1930s through the 1980s. The lamp is constructed from bamboo rods and features its original parchment paper shade, decorated with nature motifs. A fantastic example of 1950s French design in very good vintage condition. It is fitted with an original E27 socket and an inline cord switch. It is in 100% original condition and fully functional. Compatible with both 220V and 110V power supplies. It originally had a Swiss plug; this was temporarily replaced with a German plug for testing purposes. Shows very few signs of use; has a lovely, light patina. No damage; nothing is broken or loose. The shade is securely attached to the frame. Complements any interior style. Highly decorative and suitable for any living area. The wiring is in good condition and suitable for use in any country.
