A beautiful mid-20th-century British teak sideboard, manufactured by White & Newton of Westbourne, England, circa 1960. This sleek and elegant sideboard is perfect for displaying a TV screen or your favorite artwork. Designed by Phillip Hussey for their flagship "Lymington" collection (see the last image of the old catalog), it is quite rare. With its minimalist design, it offers ample storage space in an elegant design: three central drawers flanked by two large cabinets; the folding doors open smoothly to reveal spacious cupboards. The clear Danish influence, both in the choice and quality of materials and in the minimalist look, makes this piece an excellent choice for any living or dining room.
The sideboard is in excellent condition for its age and has recently been professionally restored. There are only a few minor signs of wear on the right side (see detail photo).
Dimensions: 228 cm long; 43 cm deep; 72 cm high
