Beautiful shabby bohemian antique painting of a great-looking musician playing a small guitar.
This is a painting that was cut from a larger canvas, as was often done with large antique canvases.
Beautiful eyes, lovely, evocative clothing, and a background in very beautiful shades of green. The canvas has some bumps and lumps, but is intact.
The oval antique wooden frame has two coats of paint; the beige-yellow has flaked off in places, revealing the burgundy underneath. The gold-colored inner and outer edges have been applied somewhat shabbily, likely by a previous owner.
Bring music into your interior with this unique, aged beauty. A true mood setter.

The other Mid-Century painting and the set of antique 1910-1920 cabinets are also for sale; see the other advertisements. These items are pre-loved, making them sustainable, but above all, a living echo of bygone eras. Up-to-date in the here and now and hipper than ever.
A 2026 interior trend is cherishing the imperfections of pre-loved interior items, appreciating and even showcasing the imperfection—everything that makes an item tangibly interesting.
This aligns directly with what you can realistically expect from items that are 25, 50, 75 years old or older; expect imperfections and feel good about them.
Perhaps a shift in thinking; instead of owning an item, prefer to let it be a guest for as long as it lives with you, take care of it, and cherish it until it travels on to the next...
If you have any questions or wonder about these predominantly one-of-a-kind items, you are most welcome to get in touch.
Packaging is done carefully, and in the interest of sustainability, used packaging is utilized whenever possible.
