For sale is an authentic glass vase from the French Art Deco period (circa 1920s). The vase is distinguished by its elegant baluster shape with a wide, flared rim and a very finely crafted floral decoration.
Manufacturer: Legras & Cie. (François-Théodore Legras), France.
Signature: Clearly visible signature "Leg." in the lower part of the decoration (see detail photos).
Decoration: Hand-applied enamel painting with hanging fuchsia blossoms in warm shades of red, violet, and yellow.
Glass technique: Frosted glass with a gentle color gradient from light beige/sand at the base to a warm amber/orange at the neck.
Height: approx. 26 cm.
Condition: Very good antique condition. No chips, no cracks (hairline cracks). The enamel is exceptionally well preserved and vibrant. The interior shows slight age-related residue (patina), which underscores its authentic character.
