Offered for sale: A magnificent and extremely detailed antique porcelain figurine of a gallant court couple in 18th-century attire. The figurine is in absolute pristine condition without any damage, restorations, or chips. Even the very fragile parts, such as the fingers and hat brims, are still completely intact. Style / Model: Classic Rococo court couple, hand-painted in striking enamel colors (including apple green, purple, and finely detailed floral motifs on the skirt) and finished with subtle gold accents. Markings: On the underside features the well-known blue underglaze mark in the shape of a six-spoked wheel (the Wheel of Mainz / Höchst mark). Additionally, a hand-painted artist's number (12 / IZ) is located on the back of the base. Period: Very high-quality historical reproduction from the early 20th century (c. 1900-1920), most likely manufactured by the renowned porcelain factory Dressel, Kister & Cie in Passau, made at the time using the original 18th-century molds. A beautiful, characterful ornament for a display cabinet or sideboard.
