A characteristic and authentic Art Deco cabinet from the 1920s/30s. This oak cabinet combines the typical geometric elegance of the Art Deco period with an incredible amount of practical storage space.
The cabinet features a beautiful central mirrored door and stands on the iconic, original black stepped feet that are so characteristic of this style. The top is finished with a stylish, contrasting wood veneer pattern.
Interior layout: Equipped with 3 wide, sturdy shelves (4 spacious compartments), ideal for clothing, paperwork, or storage boxes.
Bottom: 2 smooth-running, wide drawers spanning the entire width for extra storage convenience.
Dimensions:
Width: 130 cm Depth: 50 cm Height: 189 cm (including feet)
Condition and lock:
The cabinet is in good, vintage condition with signs of use consistent with its age.
The original key is present and the lock works well. Please note: on the left door, the small hook behind which the sliding latch engages is missing at the top left. The door still closes, but this is easily repaired with a new hook or a magnetic closure. On the mirror door, there is damage to the edge at the top; see photo 13.
The cabinet has already been disassembled.
