Sit-stool from 'Be by Beta' / BUUR is an ergonomic stool with seat variations and sleek design. The model is called 'Steady' or 'Be Steady' 1601.
The stool is adjustable from 58 - 83 cm seat height and very convenient with a sit-stand table. Both for active support and sitting high and low. 'Steady' is easy to lift but still sturdy for 'quiet' dynamic sitting. One can go away from me due to circumstances. (I have 1 too many, and this stool has not been used).
The Steady is active sitting in a smart way: the height is adjustable, and the seat tilts with it due to the tilting chrome bar that "wobbles" in a stable black base. I like that better than having an entire floor foot tilting with it instead of the seat.
In this 'Be' way, the seat doesn't pinch anything off and the stool moves easily with you. You squeeze the ring (circle rod) under the seat to set the correct height. It doesn't matter where you squeeze it. The fabric of seat has a zipper, so it is washable.
The 'Steady' is from 'Be by Bèta' is a Breda-based seating manufacturer of 100% Dutch-made seating; and a design from the BUUR collection. BUUR is part of the Fair Furniture Group with a circular attitude.
They connect in a social way to their local environment (a.o. with ALEZ - for young people with a mental disability from 16 years old who want to learn & develop even more, and are company friend of Alzheimer Nederland). Read their 'about us' on their websites.
