Product description
UP7 by Gaetano Pesce (b. 1939, Italy), designed in 1969, produced by B&B Italia, from the 2000 series.
The base can be used as a lounge chair or as a decorative sculpture. Made of black polyurethane foam and coating. There is a manufacturer's label on it. In perfect condition.
Gaetano Pesce, born in La Spezia, Italy, in 1939, studied architecture at the University of Venice and was part of Gruppo N, an artists' collective modelled on the Bauhaus. In addition to teaching, Pesce has been working for 28 years to break the boundaries between art, design and industry. His work is now included in more than 30 permanent museum collections, including the M oMa of New York and San Francisco, the Metropolitan Museum in New York and the Vitra Museum in Germany. To this day, Pesce exhibits his art in galleries around the world.
