Product description
Rare Bauhaus tubular steel bed produced in Czechoslovakia during the 1930s.
The piece features a chrome-plated tubular steel frame combined with elegant walnut veneer panels on both the headboard and footboard. This contrast between industrial steel and warm wood veneer reflects the functional yet refined design language of the Bauhaus movement.
The minimalist construction and clean geometric lines emphasize both structural clarity and aesthetic balance, making this bed an excellent example of Central European modernist furniture design.
The bed retains its original metal mesh base, typical for early tubular steel furniture from the interwar period.
