Product description
A clearly designed side or coffee table with a round tabletop in petrol-colored Formica laminate on a solid wood base. The chrome-plated tubular steel frame consists of three symmetrically arranged loop legs, which are directly attached to the frame. Three additional feet are welded directly to the loops. The minimalist design, industrial construction, and functional use of materials clearly reflect the Bauhaus influence of postwar modernism. The combination of Formica laminate and chrome-plated tubular steel is typical of designs from the early 1960s. The table can be used as a side table, serving table, or storage table and blends harmoniously into both modern and mid-century modern interiors.
Condition: Good, original condition with signs of age and use. Minor scratches and dents on the Formica surface and patina on the chrome-plated frame. Structurally sound.
