Marianne Brandt designed many everyday objects for the Ruppel Works. Marianne Brandt (born October 1, 1893, in Chemnitz and died June 18, 1983, in Kirchberg) was a German designer, photographer, painter, and sculptor. She worked as a designer in the metal workshop and is one of the lesser-known female Bauhaus artists.
A minimalist design in reddish-orange metal with an ornamentally openwork rim. The reverse is marked with the "Ruppel" stamp. Diameter approx. 20.5 cm, height approx. 2 cm.
Condition commensurate with age, showing signs of age and use (scratches, abrasions, some light residue, oxidation, some minimal paint loss, occasional small deformations). See photos. These are part of the item description.
