Magnificent Baroque/Rococo style chest of drawers – a true eye-catcher for any room.
Characteristic curved bombé front with two large drawers, fully inlaid with fine marquetry in various woods – floral tendrils, vase ornaments, and figurative motifs (including sailing ships) intricate handwork.
Walnut veneer with thread-inlaid frame, curved cabriole legs with carved feet, original bronze-colored shell handles.
The back and sides are also veneered and of high quality – not an inexpensive piece.
Signs of age-related wear are present; the drawers function perfectly.
Collection only in 44805 Bochum – no shipping due to size and weight.
