An exceptional trio of studio ceramic vessels by German ceramic artist Barbara Stehr, distinguished by nuanced celadon-green, stone-grey, ivory, and blush-toned glazes that flow organically across carefully balanced forms.
United by a shared material language yet individually distinct, the three vessels create a sculptural composition that feels almost landscape-like. Their surfaces reveal the subtle effects of the firing process: glazes pool, soften, break, and merge into one another, producing delicate transitions reminiscent of weathered stone, lichen, mineral deposits, and natural geological formations.
The tallest vessel introduces a strong vertical presence, animated by cascading celadon and grey glazes.
