Superb design bench.
Designed by Jean-Michel Chauderge for Steiner.
A bench characterized by its organic and minimalist design.
With original label.
The "STEINER EQUIPEMENT" label dates the bench between 1963 and the late 1970s. This was a period in which Hugues Steiner surrounded himself with big names in design such as: Pierre Guariche, René-Jean Caillette, Michel Mortier, Joseph-André Motte, Tito Agnoli, Kwok Hoï Chan, Claude Courtecuisse, Pierre Cardin, Pascal Mourgue..... The hazelnut-colored seats have been reupholstered. The frame is made of thermoformed laminated birch wood. It shows signs of use, but is generally in very good condition for its age. The two-tone finish emphasizes the graphic character of the furniture and will add a touch of character and elegance to your interior. A sublime design piece from the vintage period. Perfect for a chic and elegant interior. Perfect for the entrance of a large house, for a bedroom, a master suite, a playroom, an office, etc... it goes everywhere with you. Dimensions: W: 115 cm H: 67 cm Depth: 62 cm Seat height: 36 cm
The last 2 photos are stage setups.
