Rare floor/table lamp, light object.
The design reminds me of a monk in a robe.
Marked: BALA, Kamakura.
Minimalist, low-tech design, consisting of a flexible, soft plastic casing held together by a metal detail, as do the bases.
I haven't been able to trace the lamp anywhere, so the maker, age, and origin remain a mystery.

In excellent condition.
