Rare industrial Avery platform scale - Vintage statement piece - Belgium ca. 1940-1960
Unique and impressive vintage object for lovers of industrial design!
Offered for sale: an original Avery brand mechanical platform scale manufactured by the Société Belge des Balances & Bascule S.A. in Brussels. This piece is a wonderful example of functional industrial heritage and makes an immediate impression in any room.
Used at the time in warehouses or factories, the scale weighs up to 500 kg. The solid platform, large round dial and original patina give this object its authentic charm. Fully analog and still functional - although especially suitable as an eye-catcher or collector's item.
