This is an authentic Thonet No. 18"Hairpin" chair, one of the most elegant and sought-after models from the world-renowned Austrian furniture maker.
This specific piece dates to the narrow production window of 1919–1922, verified by the original paper label featuring the classic post-WWI simplified "T" in a circle logo.

Model: No. 18 (Hairpin/Loop Back).
Material: Signature steam-bent solid Beechwood with a rich, natural aged patina.
Seat: Traditional hand-woven cane (rattan). The webbing is in excellent condition and is fully functional for daily use.
Provenance: Features the original factory paper label under the seat frame, confirming its age and authenticity from the era just before the Thonet-Mundus merger.
Condition:
The chair is in beautiful antique/vintage condition. The bentwood frame is structurally sound and sturdy. As with any century-old piece, it shows a wonderful "living" patina that confirms its history and character.
