The Auping Auronde bed is a true Dutch design classic!
This is a practically new single bed (90 x 200 cm) in cherry. It includes the original flat Auping mesh base and high-quality Pullman mattress (also practically new, but can be ordered without the mattress if desired).
It was designed in 1973 by Frans de la Haye. At the time, its rounded shapes made it a revolutionary design. Thanks to new applications in terms of quality and comfort, it remains Auping's most successful model.
The Auronde not only boasts a timeless design but also an exceptionally long lifespan. The frame and round legs are made of 15-layer beech wood with characteristic aluminum details at the joints. The internal joints and supports for the mesh base are made of steel.
Model 3000 is a taller version with a leg height of 48 cm and a headboard and footboard height of approximately 61 cm. Easy to get in and out of, and also handy for extra storage space under the bed.
This one is only a few years old, in very good condition with minimal signs of wear.
The mattress is a Pullman Silverline Premier Firm. Very little slept in, in very good condition.
New price for this combination is around €2,500.
Delivery is available in Amsterdam, Utrecht, and surrounding areas (possibly also outside of Amsterdam upon request) (cheaper and more flexible than with Brenger). I can also assemble it for you if desired.
