Product description
Wall tapestry entitled "The Gift of Roses," produced by the Robert Four manufactory in Aubusson. This is a reproduction of an iconic 15th-century medieval work depicting a courtly scene in which a lady offers roses to a knight, evoking the codes of courtly love and the chivalric ideal.
This tapestry is a silkscreen-printed replica, woven using traditional Aubusson techniques. A certificate of authenticity is sewn onto the back of the tapestry (see photo).
The tapestry is in very good condition. It is hung using wooden rods, allowing for immediate wall mounting.
