The Atlasaurus is a dinosaur whose skeleton was almost entirely discovered in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Its name comes from the location of the discovery and the size of the animal, which reached 15 meters in length. It lived during the Middle Jurassic period, between the Bathonian and Callovian ages (approximately 161 to 168 million years ago).
