A decorative ashtray or bowl designed by Miroslav Klinger for the Železný Brod Sklo glassworks, made in Czechoslovakia in the 1960s.
Hand-blown, body-tinted soda glass in a brown/aubergine shade. Subtle tonal transitions and an organic, flowing form give this piece a unique character typical of Czech mid-century art glass.
Ideal as part of a 1960s design collection or as a stylish interior decoration, it blends seamlessly with both modern and retro interiors.
