DESCRIPTION:
The Solo is a very flexible lounge chair that can be transformed into a chaise longue with just a flick of the wrist. The first question that Prof. Heiliger obviously asks himself when designing furniture is how it will be used. The reclining surface spans the floor like a bridge. The armrests integrated into the infinitely adjustable backrest convey a feeling of security. The possibility of folding in the footrest is signaled by a visually indicated pivot point.
A cheeky design object with a high relaxation value! A very high-quality alternative to the Wink from Cassina.

A little leather lore: "Not all leather is the same !!!"...
Please do not compare this leather with artificially grained leather. In the case of artificially grained leather, the lower layers of the animal skin (split leather) are pressed through heated steel rollers. The rollers have a surface that is modeled on the natural leather grain and thus create an artificial grain (embossing) of the original smooth leather through pressure and heat.
This artificially grained leather is very often used for leather furniture which is sold on ebay, Amazon & Co as well as in upholstered furniture stores with so-called bargain prices, producer prices, direct purchase prices etc. (often Chinese goods). This furniture is often advertised with the term "genuine leather", which is factually correct. This does not mean high quality, it is by no means a seal of quality, but simply means that it is not artificial leather!
Incidentally, the leather is characterized by quite a high degree of wear and tear, with normal use the grain has disappeared after some time. It also feels cold and often quite rubbery due to the high color application. The difference in quality can also be seen in the price; it only costs around 1/3 of the price of high-quality leather at the tanneries, as it is actually a reject or third-choice product in the conventional sense.

The photos are high exposed, so that the 1a condition is also visible in detail! Colors are generally brighter as a result. The shadow areas or the areas not directly illuminated by the photo light best reflect the natural color tones. Gloss on the photos or grayish or milky areas are also due to exposure or lighting (reflections). The surfaces are silk matt to silk gloss.

CONDITION:
The Solo is technically and visually in an impeccable and mint condition. It is very well maintained and has only very, very minor signs of use, -> the typical leather creases that occur in functional armchairs after a short time due to their construction. The high-quality frame also looks like new and has virtually no signs of wear. The head cushion is beautifully soft and voluminous and the upholstery is flawless.
You will immediately notice the difference compared to other offers - especially due to the signs of use. Certainly by far the best on the market at the moment. Just right for the design lover who wants to avoid unnecessary compromises and unpleasant surprises.

We have found that transportation by Whoppah courier is sometimes considerably (100-150%) higher than the market price of the usual removal companies and furniture couriers!
We can organize a cheaper transport within Germany, to the Netherlands, to neighbouring German countries or an EU transport for you if necessary.
Inexpensive non-EU transportation by general cargo forwarder in a special wooden crate may also be possible.
However, it is essential that you contact us before purchasing!
