DESCRIPTION:
Body completely upholstered in leather, armrests and headrest with additional cushions and fixed with leather buttons; form-fitting seat cushion and leather cover with zipper. Base made of solid aluminum, highly polished on the top, floor protectors on the underside; rocker mechanism with rotary knob with variably adjustable restoring force, inclination can be fixed in the reclining position using the side hand lever; seams designed as elegant piping stitching

DESIGNER:
Gustav Thams
Thams was a German industrial designer, born in Flensburg in 1935 and died in Tønder, Denmark in 2016. He studied at the School of Arts and Crafts in Flensburg and began his career as a furniture maker before turning to industrial design.
MATERIAL:
- naturally grained cowhide nappa leather, originally grown, unique in the drawing of pores, grains and surface structure, dyed through in the aniline barrel, pigmented, easy-care and yet soft;
- High-gloss polished aluminum
- Lacquered steel

The photos are exposed in high light so that the 1a condition is also visible in detail! Colors are generally brighter as a result. The shadow areas or the areas not directly illuminated by the photo light best reflect the natural color tones. Gloss on the photos or grayish or milky areas are also due to exposure or lighting (reflections). The surfaces are silk matt to silk gloss.

CONDITION:
Not much text is necessary here, pictures say more than words. The lounge chair has been completely restored by us according to top Designclassix quality guidelines and is technically and visually in excellent and mint condition. When you stand in front of it, you think it's new!
By the way, if you compare, you will immediately see the difference of our work not only in the leather, but especially in the aluminum base frame, with us you get a high-gloss polished surface, provided with a homogeneous silver-colored aluminum structure and not as with the other offers, a matt, with scratches and quirks provided checky surface!
OUR PRICE:
Our Whoppah price includes the Whoppah gross commission of 19.36% in total (16% net commission + 21% pro rata Dutch VAT).
TRANSPORT:
We have found that transportation by Whoppah courier is sometimes considerably (100-150%) higher than the market price of the usual removal companies and furniture couriers!
We can organize a cheaper transport within Germany, to the Netherlands, to neighbouring German countries or an EU transport for you if necessary.
Inexpensive non-EU transportation by general cargo forwarder in a special wooden crate may also be possible.
However, it is essential that you contact us before purchasing!
TRANSPORTATION COSTS:
e.g. Germany, approx. 100-120,- Euro, depending on kilometer
e.g. Netherlands approx. 100-150,- Euro, single trip directly to the buyer, depending on kilometers (also possible on weekends!)
!!! The transport costs stated under "Shipping by the seller" only apply to transport within Germany !!!
