For sale is an elaborately restored, original club armchair from the 1960s, completely re-upholstered and re-covered with fine black leather.

DESCRIPTION:
This armchair offers first-class seating comfort and its dimensions and design harmonize with different furnishing styles. The basis of this armchair is a Stellmacher inner frame made of beech and plywood. The feet are made of solid, oiled oak. The spring core made of copper-plated spring steel wire is mounted on this frame. The spring core is covered with a spring line, which protects the rubber coconut upholstery support attached below. Cold foam and a layer of wadding form the top layer of the upholstery. The sewn cover consists of individual segments of high-quality leather hide, which is fixed to the frame by stitching. The seams are executed as an elegant welt seam (with this type of seam, the seams are protected on the inside of the cover). This type of stitching is not only a beautiful stylistic feature, it is also considerably more robust and durable than the usual single/standard stitching.

The photos are exposed in high light so that the 1a condition is also visible in detail! Reddish tones become redder and colors become generally brighter. The shadow areas or the areas not directly illuminated by the photo light best reflect the natural color tones. Gloss on the photos or grayish or milky areas are also due to exposure or lighting (reflections). The surfaces are silk matt to silk gloss.

CONDITION:
Like new, simply stunning! The result is so good that it is indistinguishable or hardly distinguishable from a new one (if it existed). More is simply not necessary to describe. The new owner can look forward to a timeless piece of premium furniture for decades to come.
The armchair comes from the estate of an architect whose property was completely furnished with fine furniture, Cassina and Knoll design classics, Artemide lamps etc..

We have found that transportation by Whoppah courier is sometimes considerably (100-150%) higher than the market price of the usual removal companies and furniture couriers! We can organize a cheaper transport within Germany, to the Netherlands, to neighbouring German countries or an EU transport for you if necessary. Inexpensive non-EU transportation by general cargo forwarder in a special wooden crate may also be possible.
