For sale is a meticulously restored, original 1960s Club Lounge Chair, completely reupholstered in fine black leather.

STYLE:
Art Deco / Mid-Century
DESCRIPTION: This chair offers exceptional seating comfort and harmonizes with various interior design styles in both its dimensions and style. The chair's base is a wheelwright's frame made of beech and plywood. The legs are made of solid, oiled oak. A spring core of copper-plated spring steel wire is mounted on this frame. The spring core is covered with a spring linen layer, which protects the subsequent rubberized coconut fiber padding. Cold foam and a layer of upholstery wadding form the top layer of the cushion. The stitched cover consists of individual segments of high-quality leather, which are attached to the frame by stapling. The seams are finished with elegant piping (in this type of seam, the seams are protected on the inside of the cover). This type of seam is not only a beautiful stylistic feature, but it is also considerably more robust and durable than the usual simple/standard seams.

of pores, scars, and surface texture, drum-dyed with aniline, lightly pigmented, durable yet soft and supple.

CONDITION:
Like new, simply breathtaking! The result is so good that it is virtually indistinguishable from a new one (if such a thing existed). Further description is simply unnecessary. The new owner can look forward to a timeless, premium piece of furniture for decades to come.
The armchair comes from the estate of an architect whose property was fully furnished with fine furniture, Cassina and Knoll design classics, Artemide lighting, etc.
