Product description
Beautiful and rare set of 4 vintage Art Deco/Bauhaus teacups with saucers by the renowned German brand Arzberg Bavaria.
This is the iconic 'Form 1382', designed in 1931 by the famous Bauhaus designer Dr. Hermann Gretsch.
This model is known worldwide as an absolute design classic due to its timeless, minimalist design.
Elegant, wide, and low model with a refined decoration of concentric gray lines and a chic silver/platinum rim along the edges and the handle.
Stamps Bottom:
Features the official Arzberg Bavaria stamp from the 1930s/40s.
Numbering:
3 saucers and 2 cups bear the original decoration number 75.
1 cup bears number 22 (has a minimal, charming variation in the inner rings, produced this way at the time).
1 cup and 1 saucer have no number.
Visually, they form a beautiful, matching set. All 4 cups and 3 saucers are in almost absolutely pristine condition.
1 saucer, the one without a number, has a tiny chip on the rim (see last photo).
Otherwise, there are no chips, no hairline cracks, and the metallic rims are still beautifully intact.
