Spanish colonial revival console / sideboard with four hand-carved and painted knights on horseback. Constructed from solid wood, 2 doors with iron hinges and closures, trestle base.
Dates from the 1940s-50s, in the manner of or by Artes de México S.A, renowned for producing handcrafted furniture in México City in Spanish neocolonial style.
Artes de México Internacionales, S.A. exported hand-made colonial crafts from México to the Unites States, selling exclusively to interior designers and architects.
Style: rustic pieces and Spanish Revival made with wrought iron, dark carved wood, and gold leaf details..
