Beautiful, this rare and unique Oyster armchair with matching ottoman/footstool. This iconic 'Oyster' armchair was provided with new foam and upholstery with original artifort fabric (kvadrat tonus 4 color code 130) on January 28, 2025. The armchair fits perfectly in the back and has a wonderful comfort due to its compact seat shell. Designed by Pierre Paulin in 1959. The minimalist base makes the seat shell seem to optically float in space. The armchair features a nickel colored frame and is completely reupholstered in a beautiful wool fabric. Unique & rare in combination matching ottoman. Given its age in very good vintage condition. With its sleek and geometric design, this timeless design classic fits into both modern and vintage interiors. A real must have for the connoisseur!
