Product description
Artifort 070 armchair, designed by Kho Liang Ie in 1964 and put back into production by Artifort in 2009. This particular piece comes from that later production series and features the original Artifort weaving label in the seam of the backrest. Executed in brown leather on a chrome-plated steel base. A total of eight identical pieces are available. The price is € 995 per piece including VAT; two pieces together € 1,850 including VAT.
The 070 is a sleek, architectural design: a cubic shell with straight armrests, supported by four slender legs of flat chrome-plated steel that visually decouple the seat from the floor. The loose back cushions are finished with a single row of buttons, the detail by which the series is recognizable. The leather has a natural grain and stitched seams along the edges. The seat is slightly raised and not too deep, ensuring the armchair is comfortable to sit in without sinking into it. Thanks to its understated design, this model works well in a living room as well as in a lounge, waiting area, office, or conference setup.
Condition: As good as new. The leather is intact and taut, without tears, wear, or deformation. The chrome-plated base is bright, with at most minimal traces. The photos are part of the description.
