Some ceramics owe their beauty neither to painted decoration nor applied patterns, but to the dialogue between earth, oxides, and fire. This small bowl is a perfect illustration of this. Hand-crafted in the 1960s-1970s, it features a simple silhouette enhanced by two small side handles, while its true appeal lies in its glaze. On the exterior, a deep, warm brown evokes traditional terracotta. On the interior, the firing process has created a spectacular design where emerald green blends with turquoise and black hues in an almost vegetal movement. Each reflection differs depending on the light, making this piece truly unique. Such glaze effects were particularly sought after by art pottery studios of the second half of the 20th century.
