Léon Pointu (1879-1942) was a French ceramist active in the early 20th century, known for his stoneware and earthenware pieces in the Art Nouveau style. He worked for many years in Vallauris. His work is characterized by simple shapes, stylized floral decorations and glazes in natural hues. Léon Pointu contributed to the revival of utilitarian and artistic ceramics at a time of profound change in the decorative arts.
