Product description
Three-panel Art Nouveau room divider from circa 1900. The screen is hand-embroidered with floral motifs and elegant, flowing lines, characteristic of the Art Nouveau period. Each panel depicts a different flowering plant, surrounded by decorative borders within a warm wooden frame.
The back is finished with fabric panels and the screen folds easily, making it suitable as a room divider, dressing room screen, or decorative showpiece.
The screen shows signs of use consistent with its age, including a small repair to the fabric, a tear and stains on the back, and light wear on the wooden frame, all appropriate for its age. See the photos for details.
