Superb large vase with typical Art Deco motifs and a wide, open neck encircled by a gold rim.
The Digoin Sarreguemines factory resulted from the merger of two earthenware works: Sarreguemines (1790) and Digoin (1875).
Sarreguemines is renowned for its fine earthenware and decorative tiles, while Digoin is known for its utilitarian tableware. United in the 20th century, they became a major player in the French and international ceramics industry.
