Authentic Art Deco sculpture (circa 1920-1930) depicting a young woman seated in a boyish pose. Materials: Spelter figure on a rectangular base of veined black marble. Patina: Magnificent original two-tone patina (glossy black dress, gold/silver skin) remarkably well preserved. Very delicate and expressive face. Condition: Excellent overall condition, "as found." Normal and even wear to the gilding. Original base with its threaded mounting rod and period protective cardboard. Unsigned.
