Art Deco sculpture of a roe deer made by Irénée Félix René Rochard (1906-1984). Rochard was a French ornamental sculptor known for his depictions of animals. Because of Rochard's tall marble base and precision work, each piece is unique. Bronze is patinated and has a metallic look that makes the deer stand out. It is signed on the marble base as shown in the photo. In very clean condition. Supposedly made in the early 1930s.
